Silverberg Associates offers three core services:

  • Political fundraising
  • Campaign strategy
  • Domestic and international consulting

We don’t do everything but what we do, we do very well; this is borne out by the success we have enjoyed by clients who have stayed with us over the years.

This is now the second presidential election in a row in Ghana where we have played a major strategic role in the campaign. In both elections, our candidate defeated the opposing candidate and the NDC won and retained control of Parliament.

Our domestic clients have advanced over the years to reach senior levels in the US Congress; we also work with challengers at the federal and state level to develop and effect the fundraising strategy that they need to become competitive.

With offices in Accra, Ghana and Seattle, Washington we offer our clients the expertise and relationships that are critical to the success of campaigns and initiatives. For example, in the last Congressional cycle, Congressman Alan Grayson raised $5.6 million, the most of anyone running for Congress. So far this cycle, Dr. Bobby Virk has raised $278,000 for his Washington State House race.

Political Initiatives

We also represent people who do not live in Washington, DC but who are active politically and want to be sure that their political strategy makes sense - whether it's by contributing to campaigns or trying to impact policy. We work hard to be make they are maximizing the effectiveness of their money in achieving their goals.

International

Our newest service is Ghana Strategic Advisors, a spin-off of our international political consulting. Most companies find it difficult to navigate the maze they face when trying to conduct business in another country. Many corporations see the developing world as a wonderful opportunity but are concerned about operating in a foreign atmosphere where they don't understand the process and don't have people they can trust to handle their potential projects. In most cases, success comes down to three areas:

Are you being represented by the right person?
Are you in touch with the real decision maker?
Are your ties to the proper political players?

If you are being represented by someone who doesn’t know how to do the job it doesn’t matter who they know or who they’re related to. If the person you hired is talking to the official when the real decision maker is someone else, you won’t be successful. And if you supported the previous government or your ties are to someone who is now out of favor, your contracts won’t go anywhere.

In all these cases, we help determine what your problem is and then we help determine how you can solve it.
